Second, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the professors in Foreign Languages Institute, from whose devoted teaching and enlightening lectures I have benefited a lot and academically prepared for the thesis.
Then, I am also deeply indebted to my beloved family for their loving considerations and great confidence in me all though these tears.  And they always help me to conquer all kinds of difficulties without a word of complaint.

 Abstract With the rapid development of tourist economy, tourist translation is becoming more and more important for it is the tie between tourist landscape and tourist economy. Generally speaking, the text typology of tourist documents has brief style and strict formation (which is different from science and technology documents and official documents). Tourist translation emphasizes on concise words, common expression, accurate information and practical language. Tourist translation is a kind of practical text, so it has certain purposes and trade intention, which is to pander to the taste of readers and arouse their resonance of beauty. The final goal is to attract the visitors.
This thesis states that tourist translation should bond to Newmark’s text typology. Newmark put forward the concept of text typology, which pides text types into three categories, namely, expressive text, informative text and vocative text. According to this classification, Newmark proposed two influential translation methods—semantic translation and communicative translation. After the analysis of the information and characteristics of tourist texts, one can use the methods of amplification, interpretation, compensation and so on to improve the quality of tourist translation. 本文来源:http://www.mamitama.com/a/www.czongyi.com/

 摘要随着旅游经济的迅猛发展,作为国际旅游服务的纽带和桥梁的旅游英语(Tourism English)应运而生,其重要性日显突出。一般而言,英语旅游文体大多风格简约,结构严谨而不复杂(这是它不同于科技、公文等其它应用文体的地方),行文用字简洁明了,表达直观通俗,注重信息的准确性和语言的实用性。旅游翻译作为一种实用文体翻译,自有其一定的目的性和商业意图,就是要迎合译文读者的口味,唤起他们的美感共鸣而产生旅游的冲动,达到吸引游客的目的。17204
本文阐述了文本翻译应该结合纽马克文本功能理论理论。纽马克提出了文本功能理论,将文本类型分为三种,分别为:表达型文本、信息型文本和呼唤型文本。根据这些分类,纽马克提出了两种有影响力的翻译方法:语义翻译和交际翻译。在分析了旅游文本的信息和特征之后,我们可以运用增译法、释译法和补译法等方法来提高旅游翻译的质量。
